Schedule will be posted before the end of this month. The 14U Scorpions had a great weekend winning all four games. The Championship game was especially exciting as the Scorps recovered from a 5 run deficit early in the game and tied the game in the 6th inning. The winning run was a homerun in the bottom of the seventh inning. The entire team contributed to this victory...the outfield made great catches and strong arms prevented runners from tagging-up and scoring. The infield played error free and turned double plays when most needed while the pitchers battled and kept their opponents off balance the entire game. The 14U Scorpions were undefeated this weekend in their first USSSA tournament of the 2011 season. They played as a team and demonstrated their resilence by coming from behind to win.
